Under concurrent load, what matters is the P99 — xyzDB holds 8.6 ms across all nine queries; Postgres spikes to 747 ms refreshing its materialised view. No view or index to declare; Postgres and Mongo win a couple of aggregations, but only with DBA work xyzDB never asks for. On a hard disk the gap opens to 172×.
